Who we are

A shop, not a parts catalog with a phone number

Local contractors, delivery fleets, municipalities, dealers, and leasing companies should not wait a week because a bracket is sitting on a truck from another state.

That is the job. We pull from our own warehouse, build the package in Calera or Covington, and hand the unit back. Ladder rack or a full fleet rollout — same process, no minimum fleet count.

Pensacola is the next bay — a couple of months out. Until it opens, Ben Lane is the contact for Gulf Coast timing and quotes. Do not treat Florida as an open store on the map yet.

2016 – 2026

How we got here

Fleet Upfitters was founded in 2016 as a split from the H&H retail business — a fully dedicated fleet and commercial upfitting operation. We previously operated as H&H Fleet Upfitters inside H&H Enterprises. As of 2026, Fleet Upfitters is a separate company, 100% led and owned by Danny Harrell.

The separation agreement signed by former owners Wayne Hall and Danny Harrell split the work along those lines. H&H locations kept the Truck and Outdoor retail business. Fleet Upfitters kept commercial fleet upfitting — spec, stock, install, and service for fleets, dealers, municipalities, and leasing accounts.

Calera is the original shop. Covington opened in 2025. Pensacola follows in a couple of months.

Retail caps, covers, and weekend truck accessories stay with H&H. Commercial packages, bodies, gates, liners, and trailer work stay here. Same shops in Calera and Covington. A different company name on the work order.

Fleet Upfitters is not H&H Truck and Outdoor and is not an H&H Enterprises retail store. We are a separate company, owned by Danny Harrell. Commercial fleet upfitting is done at Fleet Upfitters shops in Calera and Covington.

Fleet leasing and commercial accounts, dealership overflow, construction and utility trucks, and owner-operators who need the same install standard as a 200-unit account.

What changes the math

We stock the parts that stop a job: lighting, hardware, brakes, axles, racks, bodies, gates. Other shops wait on the order. We pull it and install it.

How a job starts

Year / make / model, how the truck works, and which lines below apply. One request can cover the body, gate, liner, and interior. A rep in Calera or Covington follows up.
