Built for fleets. Backed by our own warehouse.

Fleet Upfitters is a full-service trailer upfit and repair shop serving fleet operators across Alabama, Georgia, and the Florida panhandle. From custom builds and accessory installs to scheduled maintenance and major repairs, our team handles trailers and work trucks of every size — with no minimum fleet count.

What sets us apart: we own our own warehouse. While other shops wait days or weeks on parts orders, we pull from a deep on-site inventory of trailer and truck components — bearings, brakes, lighting, hardware, axles, and more. That means faster turnaround, fewer delays, and your equipment back on the road sooner.

Custom builds & accessory installs

Built to work harder.

From bare-bones cargo trailers to fully built-out work platforms — we handle the upfit so your trailer does exactly what your operation needs.

Whether you're outfitting a new enclosed cargo trailer for a service crew, building out an open utility trailer for a landscape fleet, or adding capability to an existing work trailer, Fleet Upfitters handles every part of the upfit in-house. Our technicians have upfitted trailers for contractors, delivery operations, mobile service businesses, and equipment haulers across Alabama, Georgia, and the Florida panhandle.

Every upfit is custom-scoped to the trailer and the operator. We work with steel, aluminum, and composite trailers from major manufacturers, and we source upgrade components — LED lighting kits, axle assemblies, E-track systems, ladder racks, toolboxes, and more — directly from our on-site warehouse inventory. That means no waiting on backordered parts, no third-party install delays, and no surprises on your invoice.

Maintenance & major repairs

Back on the road. Fast.

When something breaks down or wears out, every hour your trailer sits costs you. Our shop is built to diagnose, repair, and get your equipment back in service quickly.

Whether you're dealing with worn wheel bearings, failing brakes, blown-out tires, busted leaf springs, or electrical issues that have your lights flickering, Fleet Upfitters handles trailer repair from diagnosis to delivery. Our technicians work on enclosed cargo trailers, utility trailers, equipment haulers, and dump trailers across Alabama, Georgia, and the Florida panhandle — for owner-operators, growing fleets, and large commercial operations.

The biggest cost of trailer repair isn't usually the work — it's the wait. That's where our warehouse changes the math. Bearings, brake assemblies, axle components, lighting kits, fenders, springs, and hardware are stocked on-site, ready to install. Most repair jobs that take other shops a week take us a day or two. Tell us what's wrong and we'll give you a clear diagnosis, a real timeline, and your trailer back in working condition.

Questions?

Common questions.

Quick answers to what fleet operators ask us most often.

What trailer types do you service?

Most types — enclosed cargo, utility, equipment haulers, dump trailers, and more. Reach out and we'll confirm we can handle yours before you make the trip.

What's your typical turnaround?

It depends on the scope of work and current shop load. With our on-site parts inventory, most jobs that take other shops a week take us a day or two. We'll give you a clear timeline with your free estimate.

Do you service trailers I didn't buy from you?

Absolutely. Where you bought your trailer doesn't matter — we'll service and upfit it. Most of the trailers in our shop came from somewhere else originally.

Do you offer pickup and delivery?

Case-by-case, depending on location and fleet size. Tell us where you're based and how many trailers we're talking about, and we'll work something out.

Do you do DOT inspections?

Not currently — but we handle the repair work that often gets flagged in one. Bring us your inspection report and we'll knock out the items it identified.

Is there a minimum number of trailers for fleet service?

No minimums. We work with operations of any size — from owner-operators with one trailer to fleets with two hundred. Smaller accounts get the same priority and quality of work as our largest.
